With Thanksgiving just around the corner (can you believe it?) I went on a search for some cupcakes for the holiday & was amazed at the artistry I found. I love the cupcake above - look at that pumpkin pie! Isn't it the cutest? I found her instructions here.

And one a bit more kid friendly. So cute! Tutorial by CakeSpy here.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the festive cupcakey goodness!Want to find some time next week to attempt one of these, thinking it won't be the first one! I tend to stick to the typical Thanksgiving dishes, so thought these would be fun & different until someday I venture out and try something a bit more creative.
Do you serve a non-Traditional Thanksgiving dish?
Wow - I never would have thought to decorate a cupcake with pie. Great finds!

Cute stuff! Love the turkey one! :)
I don't think we serve anything nontraditional at our thanksgiving. I thought it was cool how hubby's family serves mac and cheese at theirs though. :)

i always do lots of baking this time of year and it's almost always cupcakes, with the occassional gingerbread cookie thrown in for good measure :)

What amazing cupcakes!
I wish I had the desire / ability to do stuff like that but I have a tiny kitchen and cooking / baking is just no fun in it :( HA, that is why I try to convince hubby to eat out all the time!
