Christmas Snowflake Cookies, originally uploaded by Glorious Treats.
Getting that time to plan out cookie baking for the season. Last year I borrowed this book from the library, lots of good ideas. Yesterday I ordered another in the series, "A Baker's Field Guide to Holiday Candy & Confections". Can't wait to look through it!
Some other places I find fun things to try is by signing up for BH&G Holiday Newsletter and Food Networks "12 Days of Cookies".
Sites I have found are:
All Recipes Top 20 Christmas Cookies
Joy of Baking: Christmas Cookies
Mom's Who Think: Christmas Cookies Not only a Top 20 list but an extensive A-Z list.
North Pole's Mrs. Claus' Cookbook
While I'm always looking for some new treats to bake, of course there are "regulars". Cut-out Sugar Cookies to decorate, Fudge & Peanut Blossoms - which just all happen to be favorites - always make the list.
What is your favorite Holiday cookie?
My favorites are my Mom and Grandma's sugar cookies! It is tradition that we make them every year and they are so yummy! :)

YUM!!
The cookies I make most are a simple shortbread recipe, but I add different spices, fruit or whatever to ring the changes. Mmmm, must do some baking!

Great links! You've given me a serious sweet tooth. I have two favorites this time of year - spritz cookies and pecan fingers. My grandma made both of these and now my mom and I bake them together every year.

those are some great links - thanks!
i always bake chewy gingerbread cookies this time of year - my grandma's recipe - as well as white candycane bark (which doesn't involve any baking whatsoever :)

I get a new cookie recipe every day of the year from Martha Stewart. Some of them are great, and some not so, but it is great to receive them every day!
