Bought The Monthly Album & The Monthly Hybrid Album by Cathy Zielske a few months back and decided to start backtracking through the year over the weekend since, well - um, it's November! 
I'll do a few pages of photo collages - depending on how many I have that month. Thinking of sending out for printing & then insert more pictures & journaling cards I print at home into 9-slot baseball card protectors like Cathy's, as well as the same format of my Week In The Life Album. Then finish each month with this page:
And that's about all I got done on my weekend home alone. The family had an overnight on a Submarine up north and I had big dreams of finished Christmas Cards & a Christmas Journal completed & waiting for December by the time they returned, but I found everything I tried just wasn't quite what I was envisioning. Maybe next weekend things will come together!
