Another lifted project from Pinterest, this time from a fellow thrifter's blog here. Love her found treasures! Though Jenni had told us to try to keep our list to 10, I went a bit over that but so far have stayed true to looking for these items. Well besides a pretty brooch every once in awhile.
Since one of my finds was some old Dictionaries I punched borders out of a page for mine as well as created these Rosettes for Day 13 of 30 Days of Creativity from a tutorial I found here - again while pinning: All ready for a future layout.
I have more creations to share as soon as I edit pics. Did a mini photo shoot yesterday and still a few more to do today - been trying to avoid shadows like in the pic above but my memory and position of the sun haven't been jiving.
Hoping the weather holds out for an outdoor sale at a local antique barn tomorrow - what are your plans this Father's Day weekend?

We're just having a relaxing day at home. Hope yours is a great one!

What a great idea those little rosettes are! I just love finding those vintage postcards and vintage signs...like travel posters!
Hope you are having a great week!!

I love both of these. Now I will be looking for old dictionaries too! Love the text elements. I deep scrolling back up to look at them, again.

Wow, those bookprint roses are incredible! What a GREAT way to use up the pages of something too old to be useful anymore!
