Fun stuff - it was all about creating but Marcia & I found time to ride the orange coaster - oh yeah, car spun, yep, it was a blast! Loved all my projects. And was great to take classes with Tim Holtz & Elsie, she is just too cute!
Also loved meeting Marah Johnson & Cheryl and the rest of the CI team, they rocked our Friday night crop. They were just too funny, so creative and so generous. We made such a cute purse from them! I had Marah sign the inside cover - love it! Also was lucky enough to be in Cheryl's class on Saturday - such a beautiful album! I love it! It's chunky - just love that & the papers rock!Cheryl has had some obstacles in her life but you'd never know it by her inner joy and sense of humor. She is a fighter. She is a survivor. She is an inspiration. Her passion and HUGE heart came through in her short 45 minute class - she's amazing. And I so hope to meet her & take a class from her again!
Pics of projects to come soon! Still need a few finishing touches...classes go SO fast!
Long weekend but no out of town plans here. Joe spent most of the weekend building his shed, which allowed me a good deal of time scrapbooking - in between kid wants that is. I signed up at BPS for "Creativity: A Daily Dose" by Gretchen Schmidt and it rocks! So far been able to keep up but not sure how long that will last. Oh well, love being able to save and work on later.
Also been getting pics ready for ScrapFest classes. One will be taught by Tim Holtz again and my first class with Elsie, along with some cool classes by CI and Daisy D's. Will be hitting the road with Marcia again and the so cute and uber funny Dawn is coming this year too! Can't wait!
Then of course all of the first day of school prep! Woo Hoo! First grade, gotta love that! We'll see how the little one still left behind does.
