Had a free weekend while the kids stayed at Grandma's house with Great Grandma & Grampa visiting from Florida, so I got to scrap my heart out. Well, first I had to finish a mini paper bag album for my Grampa for Father's Day about his dog & buddy, Max. That was fun, I think it turned out cute and I wish I would've taken pictures of it!
Since I am such a slow scrapper, the rest of the weekend was spent working on the layout above. One of my monthly scrapbook kit clubs Kit 'N Kaboodles had an online crop so I choose to meet three of the challenges with this layout. Stretching the photo over 2 pages, use chipboard & mix up the fonts. For the word "Cream" I used embossing paste & white paint on MM chipboard letters and used We R Memory Keepers chipboard letters for "Puff". Again, sorry for the poor picture, really need to get a scanner.
Can't believe how long it has been since I posted last! Have been doing some scrapping here & there. Got one coaster book done from the "Coast On Through" class at Big Picture Scrapbooking and have some stuff waiting for me on my worktable to start for the Product Playground class at BPS. It's being taught by Lisa Damrosch, who has so many great ideas for product I have a ton of, so no need to buy anything. Gotta love that.
Other than that, been trying to organize craft supplies & declutter the downstairs living room, quite a few visits to the Zoo and Montana is now going to Kindergarten Readiness for the next few weeks. After all her talk of not going to school, she went in happily and hasn't fussed one morning yet. (Knock on wood!)
